This fermented Chinese tea might do to your fat cells what the New England Patriots allegedly do to their footballs—deflate them! To discover the brew’s fat-crusading powers, Chinese researchers fed groups of rats varying diets over a two-month period. Those who had a high-fat diet while also receiving pu-erh tea extract had lower levels of fat in their blood and lower levels of belly fat than those who did not. While the effects aren’t proven in humans, this tea has true fat-blasting potential. Sip a cup in the morning, and get even skinnier with the 8 ways to lose weight before noon.
When you're trying to shed pounds, most of what you drink should be plain water. Not only is water naturally calorie-free, it's also the best way to hydrate. Green tea, however, would be a close second in terms of its benefits for weight loss. While green tea won't burn up all your belly fat, and it's not the miracle weight loss cure it's sometimes portrayed as, it does have a place in a weight loss diet and might help you shed pounds overall.
The reason why consuming herbal tea may be especially beneficial if you’re trying to shed the pounds is that it is a very low-calorie beverage. Besides being rich in antioxidants, herbal teas, which are made using a variety of different herbs, contain anti-obesity properties that help reduce your appetite, increase your metabolic rate and prevent the body from forming new fat cells. Few, if any, of the ingredients in dieter's teas are weight-loss aids. A short list of the herbs they can contain includes mallow root, licorice root, chrysanthemum, hibiscus, locust plant, and flavorings such as cinnamon, orange peel and spearmint. While these ingredients are used in traditional Chinese medicine, most are not associated with weight loss. For example, chrysanthemum is traditionally used to treat fever, high blood pressure and chest pain, while licorice is used as an expectorant to loosen mucus. Columbia University notes that some ingredients in dieter's teas are touted as appetite suppressants, but the current evidence doesn't support their effectiveness.

This tea taste great. Much much better than any other green tea or herbal tea. This tea has its own taste and doesn't need to add sugar. Best to drink when its warm after 5-8 mins of brewing. I noticed in from the first day of use.

But where green tea really shines is in its massive range of antioxidants... being loaded with potent antioxidants called catechins. The most important of these is EGCG (Epigallocatechin gallate), a substance that can boost metabolism, in turn helping you shed those calories faster and in an easier manner. Keep in mind that these benefits can be derived both from drinking green tea as a beverage, as well as taking green tea extract as a supplement.

The results showed that participants who took hibiscus tea extract lost more weight than control groups. The hibiscus ingredients also reduced serum free fatty acid (FFA), demonstrating the tea's ability to reduce fat storage.
The stem, fruit and root bark of the barberry shrub contains berberine–a powerful, naturally occurring, fat-frying chemical. A study conducted by Chinese researchers revealed that berberine can prevent weight gain and the development of insulin resistance in rats consuming a high-fat diet. Previous studies have also found that consuming the plant can boost energy expenditure and help decrease the number of receptors on the surface of fat cells, making them less apt to absorb incoming sources of flubber. Pair it with this definitive plan of 14 ways to turn on your get-lean genes to slim down fast.

I was doubting that this tea would work at frist. Let me tell you it works. This is my second day. The frist day I noticed a small difference, I normally only go once a day if I go at all. On the frist day had to use the bathroom twice and it was a normal bowel. Today I've gone three times the third time was a lot softer. So in my opinion as of now this product is great the more you drink I think the more it works if it keeps up I will be buying again. (Side note I am also taking the E-Z pills)
