Honestly, I'm kind of disappointed with this. I feel like it really didn't do anything at all and I was actually looking forward to trying this detox cleanse because of the results it promised. However, nothing changed and I still feel the same as I did before I even tried it. Maybe this is just one of those fake "sugar pills" and I wasted my money. The bottle says "flatten stomach or your money back" but the product did not flatten my stomach even in the slightest :(
The following Q&A from our FAQ section on doing a Liver/Gallbladder cleanse addresses this issue. 13. I did not see stones in the toilet, why is that? We have heard from many people that they have seen "horrible" things floating in the toilet. But many notice nothing. That's not unusual. In many cases the stones are too small to notice -- or too few. Also, using the psyllium, which makes the elimination of waste much easier, tends to encapsulate and makes things harder to see. Another thing to keep in mind is that people often confuse the little "soap" beads that the body can make out of the olive oil as stones. On the other hand, the fact the body often produces "soap stones" doesn't mean that it isn't also flushing real gallstones. In the end, though, it's not what you see, it's how you feel. Wait for a few days after the cleanse and then evaluate. Do you feel lighter and cleaner? Is your breathing a little easier, less mucousy? Does food taste better? Etc. These are the tangible results you're after. Or if nothing else, were you able to break some bad eating habits or lose some of that extra weight you picked up over the holidays? That said, are you doing the stone softening program that Jon Barron recommends before doing your flush? This helps make the program more effective. Also, you refer to an apple juice flush. This makes me wonder if you are following a different version of the flush or protocol than we recommend on this site. If so, then you probably need to check with the people who recommend that protocol to figure out how to maximize its effectiveness.
To summarize: digestive disorders (including disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, as well as the liver, gallbladder, and pancreas) were responsible for over 50 million physician visits back in 1985--and more hospitalizations than any other category of medical problem in the United States 5, 6 and almost double that today. The total cost to the American public for all aspects of digestive disease is well over $100 billion per year.7 The most prevalent digestive diseases include:
I have a 14 year old (not overweight) that is not eating right, a lot of sugar, carbs, sodas and has shown low thyroid in blood tests along some liver problems. She is ADHD, but constantly complains from lack of energy, reflux and constantly hungry! Her cholesterol is high as so are her tryglycerios. She used to be interested in a lot of sports an had lots of energy.  Now she feels tired and gets out of breath when she does sports, she has not gotten her period yet. I am very worried about her liver, thyroid and cholesterol and tryclycerius! Please try to recommend a program (that a 14 year old would be willing to follow!) to get her back to health!! Help!!
Physically, the colon is not designed to store large amounts of old fecal matter. If you have pounds of extra garbage in there, there's only one thing that can happen; the colon must distend and expand. This causes the walls of the colon to thin out (like blowing up a balloon more and more). As the walls extend out, they press on and compress other organs in the abdominal cavity. Also, old fecal matter is an ideal breeding ground for harmful bacteria and dangerous parasites. And finally, as the accumulated waste builds up, so does the weight of the colon, which in some cases can cause it to drop down into the lower abdominal cavity, pressing down on the other organs and bulging out through the intestinal wall. This is the cause of prolapsed colons.
The colon cleanse program is not all roses and sunshine; you may experience some gas and bloating. But think about it for a moment. If you were to start a car that had been sitting idle in the garage for years, you wouldn't expect it to start right up. You might have to crank it over several times. It might blow some smoke and backfire several times, maybe even shoot some flames out the tail pipe -- but then settle down and begin to purr.

I know exactly what you mean about feeling “cleaner.” I don’t know if it’s a mental thing or if it’s physical — but there is definitely this sense of cleansed. 🙂 I am definitely looking forward to my next session. Every six months actually sounds like a good idea. I am so glad to know someone else that has actually done this and has something great to say! So far I’ve just been getting a lot of raised eyebrows. 😉
Your digestive system is the main entry point of outside toxins, and as such is an important barrier between you and environmental toxins and invaders. It makes sense then that 80 percent of your immune system is in your gut. Your gut-associated lymphatic tissue (GALT) and microbiome are components of your immune system that are attached to the mucosal lining of your intestines. When that lining is covered with old, rotting feces, it makes it difficult for your immune system to do its job, and as a result, you catch colds and flus more easily, and the gut is virtually defenseless against invading parasites and Candida fungal overgrowth.
This step may not sound particularly appealing, but it can be extremely beneficial and very effective. Many colon therapists perform high colonics or irrigation procedures within their offices on a daily basis. Although the procedure can be quite uncomfortable and take a reasonable length of time, it does take a relatively simple course, so you can know what to expect. Firstly, the therapist will gently insert a tube into your rectum which is attached to a pump that pushes water into your large intestine. Once your colon has been completely saturated, the therapist will remove the initial tube and insert another, then massage your abdomen so that waste and water is expelled from your colon.
Colon cleansing with colon irrigation (high colonics). The first modern colonic machine was invented about 100 years ago. Today, colonic hygienists or colon hydrotherapists perform colon irrigations. Colon irrigations work somewhat like an enema but they involve much more water. While you lie on a table, a low-pressure pump or a gravity-based reservoir flushes several gallons of water through a small tube inserted into your rectum.
Although common colon cleansing procedures help you lose weight, they carry risks. Dr. Michael Picco, a gastroenterologist at the Mayo Clinic, says that colon cleansing can cause bowel perforations, infections and dehydration. The procedure may not be appropriate for people with kidney disease, heart disease and other chronic medical problems. Conventional medicine practitioners also note that your body naturally eliminates toxins, making colon cleansing unnecessary as a detoxification method. Discuss the risks of colon cleansing with a doctor to determine whether it is a safe choice for you.
Most importantly however, a colon cleanse can kick-start your weight loss. As foods that lack fiber move through your digestive system much slower than those with high fiber content do, it can produce excess mucous that sticks to the insides of your intestinal walls, weighing down the tract with pounds of decaying matter. Sounds horrible right? Well the best colon cleanse helps to get rid of all that and colon cleansers can help people to lose anywhere up to twenty pounds throughout the course of a month. Remember that the average human colon can hold anywhere up to eight meals before digestion starts to kick in.
Fruits and berries provide water, fiber, and antioxidants. Apples, bananas, and strawberries are a great place to start, and you may already have them at home. Each of these can provide a significant portion of your daily fiber needs. Citrus fruits like oranges and lemons are also a great digestive aid and give you a vitamin C boost. Dried fruits like prunes and cranberries can also be beneficial for your colon and act as natural laxatives.

Cayenne does more than just adding some heat to your meals. It's a mucous dissolver and help loosen any mucous build up in the body. The stomach uses mucous and stomach acid to boost and ease digestions and cayenne may even fight symptoms of indigestion. It's not a coincidence that's it's one of the three things you're allowed to consume on the intense (and ludicrous!?!) Master Cleanse.
There are various different types of these available on the market, and they can be administered into your system either rectally or orally to help remove impurities from the colon. Most of the time, these supplements work quickly and effectively, but you should always be cautious about how much you use and when you use them. Some of the colon-cleansing supplements you could try include:

Sorry, but this is too one-sided. And this article is simply someone trying to sell something. I have had IBS-D for most of my life. What that means is Irritable Bowel Syndrome with diarrhea. For me, being somewhat constipated is a blessing! To not have to take medication every time I leave the house so that I won’t be running to the bathroom every five minutes is a blessing. When I hear “colon cleanse” all I hear is I will be locked in my bathroom for a day…at least. No thanks. I take a very good probiotic – recommended by a functional medicine practitioner. It is a capsule. 50 billion CFUs. I finally have normal bowel movements. Hey, it may not be normal to the author of this article, but I’m not having diarrhea every day. For which I am truly thankful!

You should eat the easiest to digest foods first in each meal, and slowly move towards the more complex. Think of a highway; if the slowest cars are in front they’ll hold up the faster vehicles behind them and cause a traffic jam. The same goes for your food. Eat those fastest to digest first, and save the tougher to digest foods for the second half of your meal.

Periodically (approximately every six months), you will need a strong purifier and intestinal vacuum to help draw old fecal matter off the walls of your colon and out of any bowel pockets and to also draw out poisons, toxins, and heavy metals from your body. Such a formula will also remove over 3,000 known drug residues as well as radioactive residues. This is the colon detoxifier we discussed above.
Through research, I found that a colonic can be incredibly beneficial to your health. Colon hydrotherapy washes away the toxins that build up over the course of your lifetime, leaving your colon fresh, clean, and non-toxic. I also learned that a colonic can treat irregularity, constipation, indigestion, diarrhea, gas, bloat, hemorrhoids, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, diverticulitis, colitis, parasites, skin conditions, and much more. Although the jury is still out (or outright against the idea) from some of the medical community, I’d heard enough positive accounts to give it a go. Fasting has done tremendous things for me—physically, emotionally, and spiritually—and I was eager try another method of cleansing. As fate would have it, Groupon sent me a fabulous offer for 50% off a colon hydrotherapy session at nearby Wellness Innovations. How could I resist!? 😉
There is a hole in the chair/bed where the speculum and water come from. It is this same hole where all of the waste goes down. There is a view-tube beside you so that you can see everything that passes out of you. What surprised me was that after the initial “movement” (which was pretty standard) there was not that much that actually came out of me. No giant clumps the size of an orange, mostly just the clean water coming out exactly as it came in. After awhile, this made me anxious. Why wasn’t anything happening? Then, I had another smaller movement, but that was it for the length of the procedure. If anything else came out, it wasn’t visible. I had the expectation that something major would be removed and there would be a lot of movement over the course of the treatment. In retrospect, I think that having that expectation was detrimental. It caused me unnecessary anxiety during the process.
Cape aloe (Aloe ferox) is native to Africa and is renowned for its remarkable natural colon cleansing benefits. The main active ingredient is the anthraquinone, aloe-emodin, which works as an effective natural laxative and colon cleanser. Cape aloe is probably the strongest of the colon stimulating herbs. Also, laboratory experiments have shown cape aloe stimulates the growth not only of lymphocytes, which are an important part of the immunological defense mechanisms,11 but also of fibroblastic cells in skin and connective tissues12 and can thus help soothe and heal tissue in the intestinal tract. And an in vitro study published in 2014 shows that aloe-emodin induces apoptosis in human colon carcinoma cells.13
In 1998, the FDA reclassified several herbal laxatives including senna, aloe, and cascara sagrada as category III, meaning they required further research. Research for senna proceeded, but no results or comments were forwarded to the FDA for aloe or cascara sagrada. As a result, in 2002, senna was once again listed as category I (approved for over-the-counter use), but aloe and cascara sagrada, despite hundreds of years of history and being driven by similar anthraquinones, are now listed as category II (insufficient data).14
If you find packaged instant oatmeal boring, turn to some of the many creative oatmeal recipes out there! This recipe for Elvis oatmeal will satisfy your morning sweet tooth. Or switch things up with savory cheddar and fried-egg oatmeal. As you prepare your oatmeal, start with the whole-grain type, such as old-fashioned or steel-cut oats. They take longer to cook but provide more fiber.
I’m wondering if anyone who has left comments like, can I eat during this cleanse and what are the amounts of ingredients to use, and my favorite the repeated question of can I use essential oils. Did you even read the full article?? Also try reading all of the Q&A from other people. No wonder the Doctor who gave this away for free quit answering questions. Read it in full you will find the answers and as

Colonics do work to flush loose waste and sediment from rectum and large intestine, but they have several drawbacks. They can actually weaken bowel muscles over time. Colonics don't draw toxins from bowel pockets or from tissue. They do, however, flush all bacteria out--the good as well as the bad. Colonics can also disrupt natural pH (acid/alkaline) balance) in the large intestine. Finally, depending on the skill of your therapist, you run the risk (low) that some water retained in the equipment from another patient's previous use may be injected into your colon. Yech! Should You Clean Out Your Colon?
