The average American eats about 1,996 pounds of food a year, or about 5 ½ pounds a day -- totaling about 2700 calories (and growing). Theoretically, about 2/3 of that consists of liquids, water, and "fuel" content that you urinate, sweat out, or burn up. But that still leaves about 2 pounds of solid waste per day that must pass out through your bowel. If that seems high to you, then consider that just one Burrito Ultimo® at Baja Fresh, a typical fast food lunch item, weighs about 480 g, or just over a pound -- and there isn't a lot of water in it. At Sizzler, the steaks alone run 8-14 ounces, exclusive of any sides. So, bottom line, we have 2 pounds of fecal matter -- give or take -- produced every day in the average American. So what?
A colonic is a type of enema that injects large amounts of water, under controlled pressure, through the rectum and high into the colon for cleansing purposes. Some treatments add ingredients to the water, such as peroxide, herbs, or coffee, to bolster the cleansing action. Think of the colonic as a powered enema--it still only captures loose fecal matter, but goes higher into the colon and is more thorough.

In the beginning we suggest performing a colon, liver, and kidney cleanse to clear the body’s pathways of elimination as this will help you achieve better results with the following harmful organism cleanse and chemical/ heavy metal detox. Here’s the entire overview of our program: https://www.globalhealingcenter.com/cleansing/nine-step-body-cleanse.html.
Processed foods typically contain a long list of additives and chemicals used to prolong shelf life and add texture or flavor. Avoid these whenever possible. Increasingly, additives, like emulsifiers, in processed foods have been linked to colon cancer and can cause constipation.[10] The best way to avoid these additives, and other harmful chemicals, is buying certified organic foods that are raw or minimally processed.
What if you you don't have a Gallbladder any more, can you use this colon cleanse. I have had severe Candida for over 15 years now and I am having a difficult time getting it under total control even though I have changed my diet drastically and I use various herbal medicine to help. One of my biggest problem is constipation and I also have Chiari Malformation which I am told by my neurologist not to push because I can get massive headaches which I have proven and I can also push my brain out.

Most people need to drink more water. Water is the universal solvent, and an insufficient amount of it causes constipation and toxicity in the bowel and kidneys. Physical activity, fever, hot or dry climates and consumption of meat and salty foods all increase the need for water. The optimal amount varies widely, usually from six to 10 glasses a day. One useful formula is to drink half your weight in ounces. For example, if you weigh 120 pounds (55 kilograms), drink 60 ounces (eight glasses/two litres) of water per day. This can include pure water, herb tea or diluted fruit juices. Caffeinated beverages do not count because they are dehydrating. The best time to drink a glass of water is between meals or 20 minutes or more before eating; sip only small amounts with a meal. An important rule is: When thirsty, drink water not pop or other beverages.

The colon is an organ that is part of the digestive tract in the body. It’s often called the large intestine or the large bowel. When food enters the body, it's digested mostly in the small intestine, where vitamins and minerals are taken out. After that, the food moves into the colon. The colon takes out water, and bacteria in the colon help break down the food to prepare it to leave the body. A healthy colon basically functions as the "cleanup" crew of the body.
Colon cleanse proponents attribute a variety of health problems to poor colon health. They claim that eating unhealthy foods causes toxins and fat to stick to the walls of your intestines, causing weight gain and poor health. Eating foods with preservatives, additives, artificial dyes, sweeteners and fats causes your colon to build up toxins. The purpose of a colon cleanse is to sweep away these toxic chemicals and eliminate waste to help you lose weight.

That's my question too...I have read so many articles and books on this and what you can take; I am too confused. Just too many supplements etc that I would never be able to afford it plus it's hard on me to take too many supplements or my stomach is constantly sick. I had my gallbladder out 3 months ago and stones taken out of bile duct. I have been in bed ever since. I tried not to have the surgery but it became an emergency situation. I feel like I can't go to the bathroom and I don't go sometimes for weeks. That was before surgery and after since I was a child. I read for digestion enzymes I should have lipase, bromelin, and amylase then of course a good probiotic. I have several autoimmune diseases and the list of things are endless that are suggested for me. I know I need D, B12 injections, magnesium, and the fatty omega 3. I decide to start on this for now. I need a colon cleanse in the worst way but as the girl just mentioned isn't there something that has all these ingredients. It is so complicated for the normal person to understand everything we need to buy to accomplish our goals of a Cleese. I have to do something soon. I don't want to spent my life feeling as if I can't walk again because I'm seriously carrying two bowling balls around in my stomach. It looks like this and also feels like it. My back is killing me. I've gained 60 pounds mostly all in my stomach. It's hard and doesn't even look like fat. Please advise on the easiest way to accomplish my goal with the least amount of buying so many things and trying to remember to take them all. I can't remember all this. I'd like to buy a cleanse that someone with ADD can follow easily.
Once loaded with toxic waste, the compromised lymph must exit your body. What can't be eliminated in your urine must pass out through your colon by way of the liver and bile duct. What do you think happens to all this waste if the plumbing is plugged or sluggish? It backs up into your bloodstream. Is it any wonder we get sick and keep on getting sicker? Is it any wonder that the incidence of lymph cancer is doubling every twenty years?

Depending on how irregular your bowel movement is, you could lose a pound or two from taking Super Colon Cleanse but only temporarily. You will gain back the weight you lost once you start eating again. If you want to lose the extra weight and keep it off permanently, you have to exercise regularly and stick to a low-carbohydrate, high-protein diet.

I just experienced my first colonic.. Let’s just say my experience was almost as you described except towards the end.. I started cramping and had the extreme urge to push.. I had to request for the technician to stop the process. . And ran like holy hell bathroom. . During my purge. . I prayed to porcelain gods to see me thru. And vowed never again to do this.. 10 flushes later and gum.. I vacated the bathroom to hear the hysterical laughter of my friends. . Apparently I prayed very loud. After another 5 minutes I started to feel better. Enduring an hour train ride home (why did I pick a center in Washington heights.) Upon reaching home, I called the center to book another appointment! ! I definitely am going back.. And yes I feel 10 pounds lighter!
Following the session, I didn’t feel very different. I’d once read a post-colonic account where the writer recalled feeling so clean afterward that she craved nothing other than water and cucumbers. Well, that wasn’t the case for me! I was hungry! Sandra said that I should stick to soft food for the rest of the day so I had some boiled squash and rice, but I was craving a thick slice of pizza. My stomach did feel empty, but not much more than it would after any substantial “movement.”
I am a current fitness competitor and I’m prepping for a show on June 30th.. t Minus 24 days. I have very bad constipation, and blaotinh from my caloric deficit which is not showing my stomach as it should due to build up.. which I have in my head. Will this help or hinder my progress? K can’t afgord to hold water weight as I’m cutting for stage.. I feel it would clean me out and make my stomach flatter along with feeling better. What are your thoughts?
The bottom line is that it is unlikely the senna was responsible, and on top of that, I am not advocating anything close to the amount of senna consumed when drinking multiple cups of dieter's tea. In the colon corrective we're now talking about, senna, along with the aloe and cascara sagrada, are merely colon cleansing stimulants for proper colon function. No one has ever suffered a problem from them when used in that regard.
If constipation is a cause of your weight gain, then Bile Builder is a must-have to cleanse that toxic bile and get toxins flowing out through your colon again so you can lose the weight. Fat cells that are loaded with toxins won’t leave until the toxins have a way to be eliminated; these fat cells are a protective mechanism of your body so you don’t get sick from all the toxins circulating.

I know exactly what you mean about feeling “cleaner.” I don’t know if it’s a mental thing or if it’s physical — but there is definitely this sense of cleansed. 🙂 I am definitely looking forward to my next session. Every six months actually sounds like a good idea. I am so glad to know someone else that has actually done this and has something great to say! So far I’ve just been getting a lot of raised eyebrows. 😉 Healthy Eating for a Healthy Weight
